Tension
These are the REALLY important tools that are used to torque the keyway and turn it open once you've picked it (hopefully)
Wrenches
The most common style you'll see. These are shaped like an "L" or a "Z" and may have a twist in them to give you a flat surface for you to control them. The twisted ones allow more flex possibly limiting your "feel" for the lock, but may be more comfortable to use.
Bars
Handy when a wrench just won't cut it. Useful in tight keyways as only a little of the bar goes in, leaving more room for you to work your pick. Also good when heavy tension is needed.
